Effective January 1, 2022: You may have noticed that some of our pricing has changed since last year. Like many other businesses, we are experiencing rising labor, material, and transportation costs due to shortages as the global supply chain demand increases. In order to maintain our product quality and experience for our customers, price increases are now in effect on various items. This applies to pre-existing products, as well as any new product launches, which will launch with the new increased pricing. We appreciate your understanding and support! -The G-Form Team

What size should I wear?

G-Form products perform best when they fit well. They should be snug enough so they're difficult to move but not so tight that they cause discomfort. Each product page has a link to a size chart telling you the product's measurements. The sleeve length chart in the next FAQ question below can also help.

If your product arrives and you feel a different size would work better for you please contact customer service ( ) for an exchange. All non-sale/non-closeout products have a 30-day return window for sizing.

What are your sleeve lengths?

While our products conform to the sizing specified, sleeve length can play a role for both our very tall and not-so-tall customers. For instance, a shorter woman or man may opt to wear a knee-shin pad combination rather than separate shin and knee pads because the separate sleeves would overlap.

Do you customize products?

Currently we do not offer customizable guards. They will launch again soon, so look out for future developments and sign up for emails and texts to be notified when it drops.

How do I put on my shin guards?

Roll on, roll off!

We recommend rolling them on. When you slide them over your shin, slide by the pad and not by the fabric, otherwise the fabric may stretch out over time.

When taking them off, roll them off. Do not pull them off your shin like a sock.

How do I wash my G-Form products?

For best results and for long lasting pads we recommend SmartFlex™ pads are machine washed on gentle cycle, in cool water with a mild detergent, and then laid flat to air-dry. Putting them in a garment bag would be ideal. For quicker drying we recommend hanging them from a line with a clothespin or draping them over a shower rod.

The only exceptions are our E-Line Guards, which should be hand washed. To spot clean the tech gear, we recommend removing your device and wiping the product with a damp cloth.

Some of your products say NOCSAE certified. What does that mean?

In 1969 the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) was formed to commission research directed toward injury reduction. Our shin guards meet their official standards, which you can read more about here:

What about CE/EN-1621 Level 1? What does that mean?

Some of our thicker SmartFlex™ pads (like the Elite Knee Pads and the Pro-X Knee-Shin Guard) is CE/EN-1621 Level 1 certified. This is a designation for motorcycle sports, which makes these pads suitable for most track riding with a motor. Please note that any PPE II Certified products are: “PPE stands for Personal Protective Equipment. PPE products are worn to minimize risk when exposed to dangerous conditions. The PPE standard has levels 3 levels, with Level 1 being the most basic and least risk, and Level 3 being the most technical and most risk. All activities are rated with a risk assessment, and given a score. If that score falls below such and such a number, it's PPE I. And over a specific score, it has to be PPE III. When designing our products, we calculate the risk level and design to the amount of protection required. In the case that a particular activity, we certify our products to that specific standard in addition to PPE. For example, any products intended as joint protectors while riding a motorcycle are certified to CE EN 1621-1. If there is no specific standard which applies, it falls into PPE.”

Can you explain the "Indoor Certification?" (CE)

This is a European manufacturing standard required on all packaging. It appears in the US because we use the same packaging. It is not a limitation to the product, merely a standard we satisfy for use abroad. Our pads are certainly for outdoor use!

What’s the difference between the Pro-X3 & Pro-Rugged & E-Line Knees?

If you're a mountain biker going on a casual ride for fitness and don't want to let a spill ruin your day, we recommend the Pro-X3 products.

If you're heading out on a truly demanding trail to push yourself to your limits, where a fall may be inevitable, we recommend the Pro-Rugged or the E-Line products.

The Pro-Rugged & E-Line pads are both CE 1621 level 1 certified and offer increased protection in terms of impact and coverage. They meet the highest standard for motorcycle armor. E-Line has a semi-hard but flexible shell which gives added protection and the ability to slide on hard surfaces. .

What is the difference between the Pro-S Blade and the Pro-S Elite 2 Shin Guards?

The Blade Shins are a light weight, low profile, contoured, slip in guard. They are symmetrically the smallest profile pad we can make that meets NOCSAE certification. You can either slip these directly into your soccer socks or use the included sleeve, which is made of highly breathable nylon/spandex mesh retention fabric. The Blade pad is machine washable but, we recommend hand washing the sleeves

The Pro-S Elite 2 Shins are the updated version of the Pro-S Elite Shins. The NOCSAE certified pads have been updated and the multilayer asymmetrical construction is designed to increase flexibility while adding protection. The sleeve is an engineered circular knit sleeve with gradient compression that easily slips off & on while providing enhanced comfort and balanced compression. The fabric is also moisture wicking and UPF 50+ to keep the wearer dry and comfortable. These guards are machine washable.
