Our Products
What size should I wear?
G-Form products perform best when they fit well. They should be snug enough so they're difficult to move but not so tight that they cause discomfort. Each product page has a link to a size chart telling you the product's measurements. The sleeve length chart in the next FAQ question below can also help.
If your product arrives and you feel a different size would work better for you, please contact customer service (customerservice@g-form.com) for an exchange. All non-sale/non-closeout products have a 30-day return window for sizing.
What are your sleeve lengths?
While our products adhere to the specified sizing, sleeve length can be a consideration for our very tall or shorter customers.
Sleeve Length ChartHow do I put on my shin guards?
We recommend pulling the sleeve shin guard on with the pad facing to the side, then twisting the shin pad in place/to the front. When you slide them over your shin, slide by the pad and not by the fabric, otherwise, the fabric may stretch out over time.
When taking them off, twist the shin pad to the side like you did when putting them on, and roll the sleeve down to take them off. Do not pull them off your shin like a sock.

How do I wash my G-Form products?
For products with SmartFlex pads — Wash them on the gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent. For added protection, place them in a garment bag during washing. Lay them flat to air dry. For quicker drying, hang them from a line with a clothespin or drape them over a shower rod.
For products with RE ZRO pads — Remove RE ZRO pad(s). Machine wash the fabric shell in cold water with mild detergent then air dry. Wipe RE ZRO pads clean with a damp cloth.
EXCEPTIONS:
• E-Line Knee + Elbow Guards — Handwash and air dry only.
• GFX800 — Handwash and air dry or wipe down.
• Elite X Shin Guards, Vento Shin Guards — Turn the guard inside out and machine wash in cold water with mild detergent. Air dry.
Some of your products say NOCSAE certified. What does that mean?
In 1969, the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) was formed to commission research directed toward injury reduction.
Our soccer shin guards meet their official standards, which you can read more about here: www.nocsae.org/standards/soccer
Our lacrosse GFX800 Shoulder + Chest Protector meets the official NOCSAE standard: https://nocsae.org/nocsae-usa-lacrosse-team-up-against-life-threatening-commotio-cordis/
What is PPE certification?
PPE stands for Personal Protective Equipment. PPE products are worn to minimize risk when exposed to dangerous conditions. The PPE standard has levels 3 levels, with Level 1 being the most basic and least risk, and Level 3 being the most technical and most risk. All activities are rated with a risk assessment and given a score. If that score falls below such and such a number, it's PPE I. And over a specific score, it has to be PPE III. When designing our products, we calculate the risk level and design to the amount of protection required. In the case of a particular activity, we certify our products to that specific standard in addition to PPE.
What about CE/EN-1621 Level 1? What does that mean?
Some of our bike products are CE/EN-1621 certified. This is a designation for motorcycle sports, which makes these pads suitable for most track riding with a motor. For example, any products intended as protectors while riding a motorcycle are certified to CE EN 1621. If there is no specific standard that applies, it falls into PPE. 1621-1 is for motorcycle joint protectors, 1621-2 is for motorcycle back protectors, and 1621-3 is for motorcycle chest protectors.
Within EN 1621-1, -2, and -3, there are 2 Levels of protection – Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 is a basic level of protection and Level 2 a higher rating of protection.
You can learn more about different motor safety designations here: www.motorcyclegear.com/info_pages/faq_armor_ratings_explained.html
How do G-Form pads actually work?

Can you explain the "Indoor Certification?" (CE)
This is a European manufacturing standard required on all packaging. It appears in the US because we use the same packaging. It is not a limitation to the product, merely a standard we satisfy for use abroad. Our pads are certainly for outdoor use!
