I love these protection pants. I play competitive ultimate frisbee and genuinely won’t take the field without them anymore. They’ve saved my hips, thighs, and knees countless times on layouts, hard cuts, and full-speed dives for blocks or catches. The impact protection is excellent.

That said, two issues keep this from being a 5-star product for me:

1. The padding tears too easily under shearing forces.
Once the outer material catches turf or ground pressure during layouts, the padded sections can rip surprisingly fast, and once they tear, the pants are basically done. I’m already on my 5th pair in a single season. I really wish the mesh and pad attachment points were more durable.
2. The compression material behind the knees is TOO tight.
Even after repeated washes and wear, the material behind the knees pinches badly and restricts movement, especially during the first few uses. It loosens eventually, but early on it can make sprinting and cutting uncomfortable.

Overall, still one of the best protective options I’ve used for ultimate frisbee, and I’ll probably keep buying them because the protection works. I just hope the next generation improves durability and mobility.

So far I like the fit. Nice and tight, good feeling of compression. Have not had to engage the knee pads yet

The fit is great, size recommendations are valid. The only thing I dont like about the product:
1) The knee protection is skewed towards one side of the knee or the other, leaving one side of the knee more exposed than the other.
2) The knee protection pads are too low, I have to keep pulling it up, Im sure this has to do with unique lengths between hip, knee and bottom pants for every individual person.
3) The tail bone protection is too low.
I think product needs variety of positioning.
