MJ Melendez was a standout prep star playing in numerous Perfect Game events including the 2016 All-American Classic. In 2017, Melendez was a 2nd round draft pick by Kansas City. A catcher with outstanding defensive ability, Melendez has drawn numerous comparisons to Benito Santiago and is currently playing in the minor leagues.
