Out of central Texas, Bobby Witt Jr. committed to a college baseball career at the University of Oklahoma. Soon after in 2019, he found himself being drafted into the MLB not only in the first round, but second overall, signing with the Kansas City Royals. With a stint in the minor leagues, including a cancelled 2020 season, Bobby was awarded the Minor League Player of the Year by USA Today and Baseball America. He went on to make the opening day roster of the 2022 season, making his debut on April 5th playing 3rd base for the Kansas City Royals.
