Rounding out his University of South Carolina career with a College World Series Championship in 2010, Whit Merrifield went on to make his major league debut with the Kansas City Royals in 2016. Still in Kansas City, Whit continues to excel and has led the American league in bases stolen in multiple seasons and was given the Fielding Bible Award in 2021.
