      Hi Greg,

There is a pocket on the inside of the case. It would definitely fit headphones, and possibly a charger, depending on its size. Thanks so much for your interest in G-Form!

I’m talking about all your videos, including your latest one with your test “glass side down onto pavement” test. I wish to see a test with one corner first (2 meter height would be enough).

I am concerned as to how protected the ipad would be from a drop on the zipper side/edge. Is there stillsuitable padding in that area?

    Yes, the edges are protected.

Could you add some attachment points for straps. It would be really nice if it could be used as a backpack just by attaching straps at top and two at the bottom corners. It give you mobility and yet you don’t need to take a backpack.

I would imagine with the puffiness of the G-Form material, that the front cover probably has a tendency to want to flip back open when folded back behind the folio. Is this the case?

If so, I was just wondering if there is a mechanism that keeps the open front flap stuck in place to the back of the folio while you are holding the iPad with the case open, or do you have to hold the front and back flap together to keep the case open the whole time?

    admin
    July 18th, 2011 on 1:15 pm

    Hi Brett,
The Extreme Portfolio is designed to reverse zip so the front and back cover will be zipped closed.

I find your product impressive, yet I’d like to re-visit a previous poster’s comment about corner and side impact. My encased iPad 2 slipped from my hand as I was walking yesterday, and the screen shattered after it landed on its edge. I certainly have no statistics, but my guess is most falls and drops occur from less than 6′ as if being dropped while carried or falling off a table or such, and I bet in most of these situations, the iPad lands on its edge or corner. From the limited images of your product, it appears the corners and edges are the least protected areas (I did see the comment that stated there is padding on the sides), and so I’m hesitant to purchase your product at its current price prior to having confirmation that your product can effectively protect my iPad in what I assume is a more typical scenario of landing on its edge or corner once dropped. The 60′ drop is impressive…but I’d like to see a video on how your product performs in a more common scenario. Thank you.

Hi I’m from indonesia and wanting to pre order the case, but can i ask how long will it take until the case reaches to my house? and when u say water resistant does it mean we can put in inside a swimming pool and not worrying the water my come inside to the iPad 2? Thanks :)

    sara
    August 25th, 2011 on 8:10 am

    Hey Clyde,
The amount of time it takes to ship internationally will depend on which shipping option you choose, but generally it can take anywhere from 7 to 15 days. Water resistant means that small amounts of water will bead up on the surface and not permeate the surface of your case, due to the Thermoplastic Polyurethane film that covers it. However, it is not completely water-proof and submerging the case will let water inside. Thanks so much for your interest in G-Form!

Hei..can i still use the back case when i use the portfolio? What company/provider shipping do use to indonesia? Thx..

    sara
    August 29th, 2011 on 12:57 pm

    Hi Hendra,

The iPads were fitted in the Portfolios without an additional case, so generally they will not work with a back case unless it is thin.

Hi there , Could this hold a Seashell design type Asus Netbook …which is a little more then 10 inches wide? its specs : 10.31 (W) x 7.01 (D) x 1.02~1.44 (H) inches

because it would be more usable as the netbook could be still in the Portfolio when open and running… i broke my lcd panel when mine fell from a couch.

you couldnt have that luxury with a Sleeve

Thanks

Is the hull is waterproof ?

    sara
    August 29th, 2011 on 12:13 pm

    Hi there!

All of our products are water resistant, meaning that small amounts of water will bead up on top instead of permeating through the surface. However, they are not completely water proof, and therefore cannot be completely submerged in water without causing damage to the electronics inside.
