PrivateerMTB Review: A New Alternative to Hardshell Padding

In a recent post by Matt on the PrivateerMTB.com website, he brings up the “Protection versus mobility” debate that many riders face. He states, “This is the usual trade off when riders balance out padding-up before heading out to ride. Well a new US company may have just put this debate to rest. G-Form protection shows promise by offering both protection and mobility through their low profile armor.”

Matt states in his review of G-Form’s Knee Pads that our product is a great alternative to hard shell padding, especially for riders such as “XC/All Mountain and Dirt-jump needs… particularly for Dirt Jump or BMX where I would typically wear jeans.” If you want to read more of Matt’s review, you can read the full article here.

He closes with a really good question, “What do you think? Are you sold on the new generation of reactive protection materials.” At G-Form, we think if you try our protective products you will be. Comment below to let us know your thoughts.

I’ve never really been a fan of wearing pads while riding, not because I’m a tough biker dude who’s bulletproof haha but mainly because I wear slim jeans and I can’t find a thin enough pad that’ll fit… Until I saw the G-Forms!

After watching the m&m test at Interbike and then seeing the iPad bowling ball test, I was convinced these pads were tough enough to take the daily abuse a BMX rider would need.
