Yapurlandia showcases G-Form!

One of the nice things about being at a big show such as Interbike is the geographic variety of people that came by to see our products.

Were getting a lot of attention, and a good part of it is outside the US – click here to read a blog post from one of our friends in Mexico.

We keep hearing and seeing more from people who loved the G-Form elbow and knee pads – here’s a link posted by mtnbikeriders.com on their YouTube Channel.  Watch the G-Form Pad protect M&M’s from being crushed by a bowling ball!

The Gear Caster visited us at our Interbike booth last week, and has reviewed our products on their website.  With all the attention and excitement around the new G-Form Brake Hoods and Impact Pads, it was hard to get to talk to everyone.

Check out their review – complete with their own video of the Bowling Ball Smasher – and very helpful website here.

Interbike Day 3!

We’re gearing up in Las Vegas this morning for the close of Interbike 2010.  We’ve had an incredible show, with non-stop attention from attendees, manufacturers and distributors.  The lines in front of the booth to see the elbow pads and brake hoods have been four people deep and it’s been hard to get to everyone.

Here’s a quick video of Thom Cafaro demonstrating the energy absorbing properties of the elbow pad to some very appreciative fans.

In order to demonstrate the protection properties of the new G-Form Impact Pads, we built a “bowling ball smasher” in which we drop a bowling ball on to 5,000 lb test concrete.  Watch what happens when we test a competitors pad versus the G-Form:

Impromptu Testing Protocol

At the end of the first day at Interbike, having been almost overrun with interest from retailers, distributors and cyclists, a few very eager bikers decided to take the testing of the G-Form Impact pad into their own hands.

Thom Cafaro keeps them in line, but they still find a very unconventional way to test – anyone want to have a friend slam a metal bike pedal into their shin?  Watch here:
